Keep readingWhat You Will DoAdvanced and proven knowledge of electrical power system modeling and static/dynamic behaviorKnowledge of the application of the most common software tools for network modeling (e.g. PSSE, DigSilent, Neplan, Etap or equivalent)Simulations and analysis of the steady state and dynamic behaviour of complex energy systemsDevelopment of mathematical models for assessing the reliability of electricity networks – execution and support of consultancy projects (creating technical reports documenting the process and results of the study)Direct customer interactionCoordination of junior engineers’ activitiesAfter an initial period of integration and familiarization with the methodology and approach at the Milan headquarters, entrepreneurial activity will also require availability for periods abroad, ranging from a few days to a few weeks.What You BringKnowledge & ExperienceMaster of Electrical Engineering degreeDemonstrated expertise in the development of dynamic simulation models, including models for advanced energy system technologies such as renewable energy, FACTS and energy storage systemsExpertise in transient and voltage stability analysis, including reactive power planningExpertise in using PSSE, DigSilent and other products in their libraries/modules, as well as Neplan and Etap toolsMain planning methodologies and operational studies (static – e.g. load-flow, reliability, short circuit; dynamic – e.g. VSA, TSA, DSA, SSSA)Network modeling software tools (e.g. PSSE, DigSilent, Neplan, Etap or equivalent)Excellent computer programming skills, including proficiency in C, FORTRAN, Python and MATLABAt least 15 years of successful experience in power engineering and/or consulting. Proven leadership performance experienceLanguages: English, Italian.
