You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of sterility quality and regulatory compliance across all operations.Reporting directly to the EMEA Sterility Assurance Leader you will play a crucial role in driving excellence within sterility assurance processes fostering a culture of continuous improvement and contributing to Medtronic’s mission of improving lives through innovative healthcare solutions.ResponsibilitiesManagement and supervisory professional overseeing four employees primarily engaged in tactical operational and some strategic activities related to sterilization and microbiologyLeads directs and reviews the work of team members to accomplish operational plans and results meeting or exceeding performance expectations and defined objectivesSupports internal and external inspections and ensures timely resolution of audit and inspection findingsGeneral knowledge of chemical and microbiological analyses to support the teamFollows protocols and regulations to clean store and/or deliver products supplies and instrumentsInterprets and evaluates analyses for accuracy and precision against established specifications recommending and implementing corrective actions when necessaryApplies existing techniques and procedures recommending and implementing modifications for improved efficiency or devising and developing new analytical methods and techniquesPrepares reports and necessary documentation (e.g. Corrective and Preventive Actions) and provides them to relevant internal and external stakeholdersEnsures Sterility Assurance programs and policies are maintained and regularly updatedRequired Knowledge and ExperienceMasters degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with at least 1 year of relevant experienceStrong understanding of management approaches including work scheduling prioritization coaching and process executionProven experience in leading and developing a teamFluency in English both written and spokenAdvanced knowledge of the field gained through a combination of education and hands‑on experienceAbility to prioritize and drive strategic initiatives while effectively allocating resourcesDesirable qualifications include Lean Six Sigma knowledge or certification (Yellow Belt or Green Belt) and a solid understanding of project management fundamentals.Physical Job RequirementsThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.Benefits & CompensationMedtronic offers a competitive salary and flexible benefits package.
