The ideal candidate will bring solid expertise in space product assurance, with a proven ability to ensure compliance with international standards and customer requirements throughout all phases of the product lifecycle. This role is crucial to guaranteeing the quality, reliability, and mission success of our satellite systems. As part of a dynamic and growing organization in the aerospace sector, the Product Assurance Engineer will play a key role in developing, shaping, and implementing effective PA strategies, collaborating closely with engineering, program management, and supply chain teams.Role DescriptionSpace Industries S.p.A., a leading company in the aerospace sector specializing in the assembly, integration, and testing of satellite systems, is looking for an experienced and independent Product Assurance Engineer to support Small Satellite programs. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all products and processes meet the required quality, reliability, and safety standards (ESA ECSS, NASA), providing oversight and guidance across design, procurement, and integration phases.Main ResponsibilitiesDefine, plan, and manage all Product Assurance activities related to small satellite projects, in coordination with Program Management and technical teams.Prepare and maintain PA documentation (PA Plan, NCRs, RFD/RFW, waivers, audit reports, etc.).Ensure compliance with ECSS standards and applicable contractual requirements.Support quality control throughout the entire product lifecycle: design, procurement, AIT (Assembly, Integration & Test).Manage Non‑Conformances (NCRs) and corrective/preventive actions, ensuring traceability and proper closure.Conduct internal and supplier audits to verify process and product compliance.Participate in project reviews (DR, TRR, TRB, MRR, QR, FR) and meetings with customers and partners.Collaborate with the Supply Chain team for supplier qualification and monitoring.Provide technical guidance to project teams on reliability, materials, processes, and controls.QualificationsDegree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electronic Engineering, or related disciplines.Minimum 5 years of experience in Product Assurance / Quality Assurance roles within the space industry, preferably on Small Satellite or space equipment programs.In‑depth knowledge of ECSS standards and PA processes (configuration management, NCR handling, audits, inspections).Proven ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interface with internal teams, customers, and suppliers.Fluent in English (written and spoken).Preferred QualificationsExperience in ESA / ASI environments or institutional and commercial space programs.Familiarity with AIT processes for satellite systems.Certifications in Quality Management (e.g. ECSS Q, ISO 9001, EN 9100).What We OfferA dynamic and stimulating work environment.Opportunities for professional growth and development.Metalmeccanico (CCNL) with compensation based on experience and skills.SPACE INDUSTRIES is committed to promoting diversity and inclusion within its workplace and welcomes applications from all qualified individuals, regardless of ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic.Why Join Us?A unique opportunity for professional growth in a young and dynamic aerospace company.The chance to work on innovative projects with a global impact in the small satellite sector.A stimulating and collaborative environment, with the opportunity to contribute to shaping the company's future strategies.#J-18808-Ljbffr
