Job Title: Secure Data and Document Exchange Expert (SDDE) Location: Remote from any EU country (EU citizens or valid EU work permit holders only) Pay: Up to €600 per day What You'll Do Provide technical expertise in secure data and document exchange, focusing on open standards and protocols Perform quality assurance on technical specifications for transport and messaging protocols, ensuring robust implementation in software Support vulnerability and security risk assessments of messaging and data transfer systems Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, participating in technical working groups and user meetings Stay current with technology trends relevant to secure data exchange Assist with testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation, and reporting What You Bring Master’s degree or at least 5 years of higher education Strong knowledge of digital signature and encryption with X.509 certificates, and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) Expertise in open standards for data/document exchange (ebMS3, AS4, SBDH, XHE), service discovery (BDXL, SMP), and party identification (ebCore Party Id Type) Proficiency in message format standards: XML, XSD, XPATH, WSDL, JSON schema Experience with B2B and EDI data/document exchange patterns Solid understanding of web application security techniques: HTTP, TLS (including mutual TLS), WSSecurity, Content Security Policy, SOAP/REST web services, OAuth2, OpenID, OWASP Hands-on experience with continuous integration tools (Bamboo, Git), testing tools (SoapUI, Postman, Selenium WebDriver), and scripting/programming in Java Experience with SQL, database servers, and containerization tools (Docker) Ability to work autonomously, manage workload independently, and communicate effectively with stakeholders Strong documentation and technical presentation skills, with a commitment to high quality standards English (B2) required; French (B1) is a plus
