Vernay Italia is seeking for a highly motivated Automation Specialist for its location in Asti with a strong technical background and excellent problem-solving skills to support and optimize the industrial automation systems within our production plants.The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach to technological innovation and will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams.Primary ResponsibilitiesProgram and configurePLCs(Siemens, Omron, Beckhoff or equivalent),HMI ,SCADA , and other industrial control systems.Analyze and optimize production processes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety.Work with the maintenance team to diagnose and resolve faults in automated equipment.Collaborate with external suppliers and system integrators.Performroutine maintenanceon assembly machines.Carry outpreventive and corrective maintenance , using electrical/electronic diagnostic tools, precision instruments, and both manual and automatic equipment.Executewiring, disassembly, and assemblyof components, devices, and mechanical or electrical assemblies.Ensure compliance withsafety and quality regulations .Work Location AstiEducation, Experience and Skills RequiredDegree inAutomation, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering , or equivalent experience.At least2–3 years of experiencein similar roles within automated industrial environments.Knowledge ofPLC programming, robotics, and industrial systems .Ability to readelectrical and pneumatic schematics .Familiarity withtechnical standards(CE marking, Machinery Directive, electrical safety).Good command oftechnical English .Strongteamwork, analytical, and goal-orientedskills.Additional QualificationsResults‑oriented mindsetPrecision and reliabilityTeam spiritWillingness to work in shiftsAvailability forshort business tripsto partner sitesWhat We Have to OfferFlexible and collaborative work environment;Opportunities for continuous training and professional development;Joining a structured and solid companyThe salary will be discussed considering the expertise and experience of the candidate.Apply now to join a solid and innovative manufacturing company We can offer you the opportunity to work with fantastic people and develop yourself on projects that present great technical challenges and have a real impact.
