Electrical Engineer / Electrical TechnicianLocation: NetherlandsEmployment Type: Full-time️ Contract Type: Long-term (with potential for permanent employment)About the Role:Are you an Electrical Engineer or Electrical Technician with hands-on experience in EPLAN ?We are looking for professionals who can design, assemble, read, and modify electrical schematics using EPLAN to support industrial machinery projects. You will join a technical team working on new designs, redesigns, and modernization projects for customers operating in high-demand industrial environments.⚠️ EPLAN experience is the most important requirement for this role.If you work daily with EPLAN, we want to talk to you.Key Responsibilities:• Electrical design and redesign of industrial machinery and systems• Creating, modifying, and maintaining electrical schematics in EPLAN• Translating technical designs into practical, buildable solutions• Supporting repair, modernization, and end-of-life product solutions• Ensuring accurate electrical documentation and data consistency• Collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering and production teams• Supporting customer-specific technical solutions when neededRequirements:• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Technician (or equivalent experience)• Proven hands-on experience with EPLAN (mandatory)• Experience in industrial environments (machinery, manufacturing, OEM, food or automation is a plus)• Ability to understand, assemble, and improve electrical designs• Structured, detail-oriented, and solution-driven mindset• Good communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus, not mandatory)• Valid EU passport or permanent EU work authorization required• Visa sponsorship is not available for this positionWe Offer:1 year contract (40 hours/week) with the possibility of permanent employment.Monthly gross salary: 3.000,00 - 4.500,00 (based on experience and education).25 paid vacation days + paid public holidays.Holiday allowance of 8.33% , paid annually in May.Travel reimbursement: €0.23/km.Relocation support :First housing arranged and upfront payment of rent/deposit if needed€1,500 - €3,000 net relocation bonusPick-up on arrival and onboarding support (bank, BSN, insurance, etc.)Team onboarding events and community support.Who is Xelvin?Xelvin is a Dutch consultancy company specializing in Engineering.
