Job Description The successful candidate is a self‑motivated vehicle project engineer. Based in Napoli – IT, they will coordinate design teams and manage the entire project lifecycle from bid to delivery and vehicle qualification phases. Accountabilities Technical coordination of design teams during complete project lifecycle from bid to delivery and vehicle qualification phases Preparation of project design documents for bid or projects Definition and management of design reviews with design teams or customers Preparation of project documentation such as engineering plans and design review reports Management of project KPI and open items by means of structured templates Engineering representation during cross‑functional meetings with project managers, procurement and manufacturing departments throughout the project lifecycle Coordination of testing activities with related departments to manage complete validation of the project Required Skills / Knowledge Preferred past experience in railway or similar industry sector projects Knowledge of the basic concepts of the RAMS disciplines is an advantage Knowledge of main regulations relating to on‑board systems in the railway business Proficiency in office automation software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint Experience with system engineering processes and regulations in the railway field Recommended knowledge of electrical/mechanical design software (AutoCAD, Creo, Catia, etc.) Recommended knowledge of IBM DOORS requirements management tool Knowledge of engineering processes and railway operations Ability to collaborate across all levels of the organisation Readiness to work in a collaborative, fast‑paced, multitasking international environment Responsibility and autonomy in team project work Availability for short‑term national and international business trips Desired Skills / Knowledge Ability to manage and plan tasks independently in a team setting Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, business process analysis Capability to interact with internal customers and external partners (suppliers, customers, partners) Excellent planning and organization Versatility and continuous learning in technology and industry best practices Strong business acumen and technical skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable working in an international and multicultural environment Education / Qualifications Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical or Vehicle Transportation Engineering or equivalent.
