We bring together technologies and industries, alongside the contributions of diverse individuals who are empowered by an intentional workplace culture, to solve problems better and faster.Shape the Future With UsWe offer you a motivating environment with exciting projects and would appreciate to welcome you in our team as a:Materials Application EngineerWork locations: Turin, Brindisi, PomiglianoThe selected resource, assigned to a well-structured Engineering Support office dealing with Aero Engines / Gearboxes domain, will be in charge for the activities related to R&D, test, analysis and characterization of materials, Verify & Validation development processes of new materials, definition of technical specifications of special treatments, failure analysis/investigation on damaged and/or NC components, partnering with other Departments (i.e. Design, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain etc) and directly interfacing with suppliers.Qualification RequirementsMaterials/Nanotechnology/ Engineering Master Degree or similar background;Some expertise in Additive Manufacturing processes and technologies will be preferential;Broad knowledge about different materials (metallic, ceramic, composite, polymeric, etc) and experience on characterization tests;Laboratory operations experience (knowledge of procedures, equipment, etc);Knowledge about coating / surface treatments processes advantageous but not mandatory;Proficiency in English;Good computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).Desired SkillsCommitment, precision, flexibility, proactivity, reliability;Self-organization/self-motivation oriented mindset;Strong analytical and problem solving skills;Excellent team-work attitude;Strong communication and interpersonal skills;Availability for business travels (short & long term travels);Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment, meeting strict deadlinesHow We Work: Culture at Quest GlobalWe are known for our extraordinary people who make the impossible possible every day.
