Within the Financial Audit Function, we are looking for a talented and proactive resource to join the team. Key responsibilities of the role will include: Carrying out the financial audits (i.e. IFRS, Solvency II, treasury, debt, etc.), including Group Head Office and Thematic audit, based on the audit plan and ad hoc requirements of the top management; within this activity, contributing to the preparation of the risk-oriented audit program Ensuring compliance with the Group Audit methodology in conducting the activity respecting all the requirements, i.e. uploading GenIA tool, conducting Data Analytics, etc. Ensuring compliance with the external requirements (Italian/European regulatory) Supporting the Audit manager/Head of the Financial Audit function in preparing documentation (i.e. quarterly reporting for Governance Bodies, hoc reporting, etc.) Contributing to the Group Audit Communities is assigned to Following-up audit recommendations and communication with related counterparties Supporting the Audit manager in the coordination activities with local Audit teams across the Group Liaising with the other colleagues of the Financial Audit team contributing to create a collaborative environment inspired to the Generali Group values and behaviours Requirements Our ideal candidate will meet the following requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Insurance/Financial Services Management or in Actuarial and Statistical Sciences 1-3 years of experience in the internal or external audit, or in the business possibly, in a financial institution (insurance company or bank) Good knowledge of the Office Package Fluent Italian and English Business Knowledge Good knowledge of financial and insurance processes (Life, P&C, Health) Competencies about accounting principles (local GAAP, IFRS 17), Solvency II, planning and cost control, capital management and treasury Good knowledge of corporate governance, regulatory environment, financial crime, data governance and digital Ability to perform standard audit tasks independently Knowledge of internal control evaluation, risk assessment, and audit methodologies Soft Skills Reliability, proactivity, resilience, and teamwork orientation Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and stress management Strong written and verbal communication skills Company Profile Generali is a major player in the global insurance industry – a strategic and highly important sector for the growth, development and welfare of modern societies.
