This Thanksgiving, we’re looking to add another talented Industrial Maintenance Technician and Machinist to our team — someone who takes pride in precision, problem‑solving, and craftsmanship.Job Description:The Maintenance Technician- is primarily responsible for fabrication of repair parts and parts for safety modifications to plant equipment.JOB PURPOSE:Lead shop maintenance projects and support the repair, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance of all production and packaging equipment.Pay Rate: $32.29 per hour Monday-Friday Day shiftWhat You’ll Do:Fabrication of repair parts for all production and packaging equipmentAssist with design and fabrication of machine safety modificationsComplete various projects and work orders as assigned (e.g., welding, machining, mechanical, electrical)Prioritize shop maintenance work and assist other maintenance techniciansAssist and/or lead in maintenance procedures through contractors / vendorsSpecialist reference for problem solvingFacilitate training for maintenance technicians in welding and use of shop toolsTroubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance as necessary on all production and packaging equipmentSupport maintenance team by working on shift when necessaryMaintain skills related to troubleshooting and PM’s on all equipmentMaintain all shop tools and hardware in good working conditionSupport the Maintenance Manager in defining the investment plan; suggesting interventions and the preliminary phases of R.C.A.Work and communicate well with others and effectively contribute to the working relationships within the plantMust be fluent with all basic tool room equipmentOne must be a self‑starter, possess the ability to take direction from multiple sources, while minimizing any potential down time of productionPeriodic reviews of perishable tooling for reorder and on‑hand quantity purposesMust have sense of urgency and ability to prioritizeOTHER FUNCTIONS: Other duties as assignedWhat We’re Looking ForAA degree in maintenance or trade school certificate preferred but not required. Requires a minimum of 3 years of manufacturing machining experience. The use and ability to program CNC lathes and mills, basic proficiency in mig, tig and stick welding is required. Prior use of Master Cam is desired. Experience with PLC’s and VFD’s preferred but is not required. Basic knowledge of MSOffice is essential.
