About this opportunity Senior Quantity Surveyor Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Buildings & Real Estate construction Post Contract Commercial Management Gleeds in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has an exciting opportunity, supporting an iconic program in Riyadh. We are seeking MRICS qualified Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management professionals, who want to develop their career in a personable and professional environment. Key Responsibilities Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Delivering post contract commercial management services Managing projects to deliver high quality services and deliverables in accordance with the Gleeds procedures. Positively engaging with Clients and developing, growing and maintaining Client relationships. Delivering high quality services and ensuring that cost management deliverables meet Clients’ requirements. Advising on and implementing procurement strategies. Preparing tender documentation and managing the tender process, including designing tender marking schemes. Valuing completed work and arranging for payments. Settling final accounts. Providing senior technical advice on legal and contractual issues relating to construction projects. Administrating contracts as Contract Administrator or Employer’s Agent. Producing and presenting reports to Clients. Advising Directors promptly of any issues that have arisen, or that might arise, on projects Who we’re looking for Experience, Knowledge and Key Skills MRICS Chartered 10+ years post graduate demonstrable experience in all aspects of quantity surveying 3+ years’ experience in Saudi Arabia 3+ years’ experience with a consultancy organization Experience of building projects, hospitality and education Sound knowledge and practical experience of post contract commercial management. Practical knowledge of construction procurement strategies, including tendering and contract strategies. Clear and effective communication skills - both oral and written Ability to absorb complex information and assess requirements readily Ability to work as part of a team Arabic language skills, native preferred Qualifications Degree in Quantity Surveying MRICS or equivalent chartered status Native English level written and oral skills Arabic desirable Transferable Iqama Be part of the extraordinary Every day at Gleeds, we influence the way people around the world live, work and travel.
