Job OverviewSenior Digital Visual / Motion Designer (freelance) – based in Milan, Italy. The role is part of the Milan Aesthetic Research Center (MARC), a multidisciplinary design studio focused on creating compelling digital experiences for Huawei products. ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with designers, researchers, and developers to conceptualize and design visually compelling solutions. Focus on aesthetic exploration and research to push the boundaries of design for the HarmonyOS ecosystem. Create high‑quality visuals for digital interfaces, ensuring a seamless user experience while maintaining brand consistency. Contribute to the art direction and overall visual strategy of the team’s projects. Work with motion design and/or 3D tools to enhance visual concepts. Required SkillsProven experience in UI design and Art Direction for digital products or operating systems. Strong portfolio showcasing advanced visual design skills and creativity. Deep interest in technology and passion for exploring cutting‑edge design trends. Experience with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite. Experience with visual Generative AI tools and portfolio samples. Ability to present and showcase concepts (Keynote). Professional English proficiency. Nice‑to‑Have SkillsKnowledge of motion design (After Effects). Knowledge of 3D modeling/animation tools (Cinema 4D, Blender). Familiarity with design systems and prototyping tools.
