Job Description As Expert Electronic Engineer you will be part of Eniquantic. Within a team of physicists and software engineers, you will contribute to the development of a quantum computer based on neutral atoms. Specifically, you will design and develop electronic boards for the generation, acquisition and processing of analog and digital signals; these will constitute the experimental‑control electronics of the quantum computer. Main Activities Design and develop electronic boards for the generation, acquisition, processing, and timing of analog, RF and digital signals, possibly in collaboration with external partners. For example, input‑output modules of analog and digital signals based on microcontrollers or FPGAs, low phase‑noise DDSs, PID controllers, phase‑lock electronics, and photodetectors. Coordinate and/or collaborate on internal and/or external electronics modules development projects. Integration of electronic modules and devices into the experimental‑control system, in collaboration with the software engineering team. Required Qualifications Master's degree in electronics engineering or physics. Up to 5 years of experience (possibly including a PhD program) of electronics design and development within academic or industrial research projects, such as optical/quantum sensors or acquisition device development. Strong experience with ECAD and electronic circuits simulation software. Strong experience with the design and development of analog RF PCB boards, ideally within projects where fast and low‑noise signal processing is a requirement. Experience with the development and programming of electronics modules based on FPGA for the generation, acquisition, and processing of input/output analog and digital signals. Teamwork in a multidisciplinary environment with autonomy and proactivity. Excellent knowledge of English. Availability for travel.
