With a strong sense of history and a commitment to growth, Ravenna is a great place to live, learn, and work.QUALIFICATIONS and DUTIESValid Michigan School Administrator Certification Must hold a Michigan School Administrator Certificate (or Permit with enrollment in an approved Administrator Preparation program within six months)Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership or Administration Master’s in Educational Administration, Leadership, or a closely related fieldSuccessful Teaching Experience (3–5 years) Evidence of effective teaching practice at the middle or secondary level is generally requiredInstructional Leadership & Curriculum Oversight Experience leading curriculum development, implementing instructional initiatives, and using data to improve learning outcomesStaff Supervision and Performance Evaluation Proven ability to supervise, mentor, evaluate, and support certified and support staffSchool Safety & Student Discipline Management Skilled in creating safe environments, implementing discipline plans, restorative practices, and supervising student conductData-Driven Decision-Making & School Improvement Ability to monitor student performance, assess programming effectiveness, and support continuous improvement processesBudgeting, Scheduling, and School Operations Competence in managing building budgets, developing master schedules, overseeing facilities, and ensuring smooth daily operationsCommunity, Family, and Stakeholder Engagement Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with parents, community members, and district staff to build partnershipsCompliance with Policies, Laws, and Accreditation Standards Knowledge of Michigan and federal education laws, accreditation requirements, state reporting (e.g., M-STEP, accountability), and implementation of board policiesSalary/Benefits- Commensurate with education and experience, $90,000-$105,000.#J-18808-Ljbffr
