They are creators, architects, nurses, researchers, programmers, marketers, facilitators, developers, investors, and caregivers, all focused on making a positive impact on the lives of residents, their families and team members.We are looking for aWellness Nurseto join our amazing teamShifts: PRNResponsibilities:Servant Leadership directs all aspects of decision makingServe as the “Charge Nurse” in the absence of the Executive Director and Director of Health & WellnessContributes to all aspects of medication management, including but not limited to; orders, administration, storage, documentation and as mandated by the State Regulations and Guidelines as well as Company policy and procedureAssures resident rooms and common areas are always clean and safeAssure that all care partners and medication assistants are familiar with the residents’ individual conditions and are trained to provide the resident services in an effective, professional, and sensitive mannerAssist the residents with their self-medication or administration of medicationsResponsible for limited nursing license daily recommendations and documentation (if applicable)Implements plans of care recommended by the Resident Wellness DirectorImplements change in condition plansProvides accurate and timely documentation of all care provided to residentsComplete resident charting in the electronic health record and assists in completion of assessments as scheduled or with change in conditionCompletes accident and incident reports as requiredMaintains positive relationships with residents, family members and responsible partiesBe prepared for and manage emergency situations including disasters, fire, and other emergenciesEnsures adequate and appropriately trained care partners and medication assistants are available for each shift as scheduled, within company and state guidelinesLicensed Vocational Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse license(LVN/LPN preferred)Two (2) years’ experience in a senior living environment preferredBasic First Aid and CPR certificationMust successfully complete all company specified training programsEffective communication skills commensurate with professional standards.Strong organizational skills.Ability to communicate effectively with wellness team members, leadership team, residents, family members, vendor partners, referral sources and outside contactsAbility to communicate effectively with wellness team members, leadership team, residents, family members, vendor partners, referral sources and outside contactsAppearance is neat, clean, and according to dress code.
