Senior Sustainability Consultant

During this period you support your colleagues thanks to your practical experience in managing projects related to energy efficiency for the industrial and tertiary sectors. As a senior sustainability consultant, you will be a fundamental resource for Arcadis’ economic and reputational development. You will be involved in innovative initiatives and provide support to the company's business lines in the implementation of new initiatives that you’ll be able to assist with or lead first‑hand. You will also be involved in sustainability management practices together with professionals in the sector, with the possibility of working in dynamic and high‑level teams.Role accountabilitiesCollaborate with the team lead in managing projects from the pursuit‑to‑win stage to the delivery‑to‑result.Lead specific project teams in reference to sustainability assessments and building certifications for client organizations.Develop and implement sustainability strategies and action plans.Analyze data related to energy use, waste, water, and emissions.Advise clients on regulatory compliance and industry best practices.Prepare detailed reports and present findings to stakeholders.Lead workshops and training sessions on sustainability topics.Implement and develop certifications activities (BREEAM & LEED consultancy), decarbonisation projects (SBTi, LCA, & CRREM assessments) and EU Taxonomy compliance assessments.Lead projects during the design and construction stage.Collaborate with your colleagues of inter‑disciplinary teams for technical due diligence and design assessments.Qualifications & ExperienceAt least 7/8 years of proven work experience in consulting activities in sustainability sector.A degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering or Architecture Engineering; other engineering backgrounds would be accepted in case of relevant experience.Strong knowledge of sustainability frameworks (LEED AP, BIRM·AP, WELL AP etc.).At least one AP Sustainability credentials.A good (B2) level of English and Italian.Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.Strong written and verbal communication abilities.Project management experience is a plus.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.Up‑to‑date knowledge of environmental regulations and standards.Passion for sustainability and environmental stewardship.Availability for business trips on the national / international territory.Nice to haveEGE Certification.Project management certification PMP or similar.Experience in design activities.Good knowledge of LEED framework and other international energy‑environmental protocols.Continue your career journey as an Arcadian.
