In this role you will design, develop and maintain scalable back-end applications using Java or .NET, and build REST APIs integrated with internal and external systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software and contribute to secure, scalable architectures. - Design, develop and maintain scalable back-end applications using Java or .NET technologies
- Develop and maintain REST APIs and integrate back-end services with internal and external systems
- Write clean, efficient code following best practices and standards
- Work with relational and/or NoSQL databases, including data modelling and query optimization
- Collaborate with Front-End Developers, Business Analysts, QA Engineers and other stakeholders
- Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging and process improvement
- Contribute to scalable and secure software architectures
- Work in an Agile environment and participate in ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Meetings and Retrospectives
- 2-5 years of professional experience in Back-End Development with Java or .NET
- Strong knowledge of Java/Spring Boot or .NET/.NET Core
- Experience developing and integrating REST APIs and web services
- Good knowledge of relational databases and SQL
- Experience with Git and software development best practices
- Knowledge of microservices architecture (plus)
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes or Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure or GCP) (plus)
- Academic background: Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field
- Fluent Catalan and/or Portuguese and good command of English
- Analytical mindset, attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively in an international environment
