As part of this ongoing evolution, we are seeking a Customer‑Obsessed, Results‑Driven Financial Analyst to join our FinOps – Operations Readiness Team.In this role, the Financial Analyst will have the chance to make a meaningful impact in a rapidly growing environment. The individual will lead complex projects and initiatives that influence FinOps and AP processes across Global Support Centers, collaborating closely with Global Teams, including Business Partners, Technology, Tax, and Subject Matter Experts.This is an exciting, hands‑on opportunity to be part of a team that shapes Accounts Payable processes within Finance Operations Support Centers. The candidate will resolve conflicts, drive cross‑functional decision‑making, and ultimately deliver impactful results.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate closely with the Program Lead to manage and drive large‑scale, complex programs and projects from inception to delivery, coordinating with cross‑functional and geographically diverse teams.Understand and translate business requirements into actionable solutions, ensuring comprehensive implementation across people, processes, policies, and technology.Partner with cross‑functional teams to test and launch scalable solutions that meet customer needs while adhering to high controllership standards.Ensure consistent, efficient project execution by following Amazon's governance and project methodology frameworks, delivering optimal, high‑quality, and scalable solutions.Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks and obstacles, working closely with business partners, key stakeholders, and team members, and always having contingency plans in place to address challenges.Monitor the health of the project after go‑live, ensuring that key metrics are tracked and reported to the Senior Leadership team according to the agreed timelines.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall effectiveness of FinOps.Basic Qualifications6+ years of Accounts Payable (AP) experienceBachelor's degree3+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experienceExperience in managing finance operations for accounts payable, accounts receivable or payroll3+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experienceKnowledge of Six Sigma defect reduction techniques (Lean, etc.)Knowledge of finance, accounting or related field focused on analyticsPreferred QualificationsProject Management Professional (PMP) certificationExperience with Lean or Six Sigma analytical techniquesExperience in multiple finance and accounting roles, or experience using OracleOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
