Manufacturing Supervisor Join us at GE Vernova as a Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee daily production activities on the shop floor, ensuring safety, quality, efficiency, and on‑time delivery of manufactured goods. This role includes leading a team of production workers, managing schedules, optimizing workflows, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver products on time and within budget. Responsibilities Supervise daily production operations and lead a team of production workers, supervisors, and technicians. Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to the team. Ensure team adherence to work instructions, company policies, and safety regulations. Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to team members. Maintain a positive and productive work environment. Manage production schedules to meet company goals and production targets. Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and inventory teams to ensure material availability. Monitor production processes and adjust schedules to maximize efficiency. Allocate resources (manpower, materials, machines) effectively. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to minimize downtime. Ensure proper operation of machinery and request maintenance when needed. Implement and manage Return of Experience (ROE) initiatives. Identify and flag key risks and ensure mitigation plans are recorded in the Risk & Opportunity register. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as output, downtime, waste, and efficiency. Prepare and present production reports to senior management. Support Lean manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and other continuous improvement initiatives. Participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions for production issues. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Proven significant production or manufacturing experience with a leadership or supervisory role. Strong knowledge of production systems, quality control, and safety standards. Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Experience with Lean or similar continuous improvement methodologies (a plus). ERP system experience (e.g., SAP). Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Fluency in Italian and English. Perseverance and resilience.
