Key Responsibilities for the Data & Backend Engineer Here's what your week might look like: Transforming Raw Data into Gold: Organize, clean, and index large datasets to make them usable, actionable, and scalable. Architecting High-Throughput Systems: Design storage solutions and data pipelines that achieve low-latency and high reliability under heavy loads. Think: systems that just work, no matter the stress. Owning ETL Pipelines: Plan, build, and improve Extract, Transform, Load processes that are repeatable, efficient, and rock-solid. Working in Node.Js/NestJS: Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, or architecture, using your skills in Node.Js and (ideally) NestJS to build systems that scale. Connecting with Blockchain Backends: Use and optimize blockchain RPCs/gRPCs where necessary, ensuring seamless interaction with data from blockchain environments. What We're Looking For This role calls for a mix of technical depth, creative problem-solving, and curiosity about systems architecture. Our dream candidate will check most of the boxes below—or at least be eager to learn what's missing: Solid experience in data analysis, indexing, and creating efficient data storage solutions. A track record of optimizing high-throughput systems—you know how to craft something scalable and performant. Confidence in designing ETL workflows, managing data transformation processes end-to-end. Hands-on expertise in Node.Js and familiarity with NestJS (or a willing interest to pick it up quickly). Comfort with blockchain backends (like RPCs or gRPCs). You don't need to be a crypto wizard—but understanding this space is a definite plus. A love for systems thinking.
