Avionic Firmware Software Engineer and Tester TXT e-Tech, part of TXT GROUP, is looking for a Firmware Software Engineer & Tester to join its Aerospace & Defence Business Unit. Previous experience in the avionics sector is not required; we are looking for curiosity, strong technical foundations, and a desire to grow. Responsibilities Unit, integration, and verification testing in simulated environments and on real hardware. Writing and analyzing software requirements for avionics systems. Integration with avionics communication protocols (ARINC429, AFDX, CAN bus, etc.). Architectural design of embedded and firmware solutions. Development of low‑level drivers and firmware for onboard computers using low‑level programming languages (e.g., C, C++, Ada95). Participation in hardware testing and avionics certification campaigns. Required Technical Skills Embedded systems and microcontrollers (STM32, Arduino, Nucleo boards). Programming in C, C++, or Ada95. University projects involving sensors, communication protocols, software testing, or PCB design. Preferred Skills Experience with real‑time or safety‑critical systems. Bare‑metal or RTOS‑based development and testing. Knowledge of communication systems (TCP/IP, UDP, FTP). Experience with file systems, custom boards, or validation tools. Basic knowledge of avionics standards and protocols: DO‑178C, ARINC 429/664, Mil‑1553, CAN bus.
