For our client part of a global industrial company, we are seeking aSOURCING MANAGERReporting to Operations Manager, he / she will lead the sourcing function by building strong supplier partnerships, optimizing cost and quality, and aligning procurement strategies with the company’s growth objectives. The Sourcing Manager is a key driver of organizational transformation, enabling a proactive, data-driven, and cross-functional procurement approach.The Sourcing Manager focuses on enhancing supplier strategy, optimizing cost and quality, and ensuring that sourcing decisions are aligned with production, R&D, and supply chain objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and implement sourcing strategies aligned with business goals and production requirements.Select, evaluate, and develop suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and competitiveness.Lead cost optimization initiatives through value engineering, design-to-cost, and total cost of ownership analysis.Collaborate with R&D, Production, and Supply Chain to ensure procurement supports product development and operational efficiency.Monitor supplier performance and manage risks to ensure continuity of supply.Promote digitalization and data-driven decision-making in procurement processes.Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations, including sustainability standards.Support the development and mentoring of procurement team members, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.Actively participate in quarterly sourcing meetings across the Business Area to share best practices, align on strategic initiatives, and explore supplier synergies.Coordinate with sourcing managers from other companies within the Business Area to benchmark performance, harmonize approaches, and identify joint opportunities for improvementRequirementsDegree in Engineering.10 years of experience in procurement, with at least 5 in strategic sourcing roles in manufacturing companiesStrong knowledge of manufacturing processes, supplier development, and cost analysis.Proven leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.Experience with ERP, PLM systems and digital procurement tools.Fluent in Italian and English; other languages are a plus.Place of workMilano (north) / HybridIf you are interested in this role, please forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, authorizing the treatment of your personal data according to Dlgs. 196 / 03 & GDPR specifying SM60 to : #J-18808-Ljbffr
