In 2024, APL Data Center surpassed 200 employees and offers its teams an attractive working environment with many benefits (hybrid work, 100% health insurance coverage, meal vouchers, “Learning by APL” training programs, contribution to sports memberships, parental challenge, CSE benefits, etc.).Joining APL Data Center means:Becoming part of a rapidly growing group in France and abroad.Working with expert teams focused on excellence and innovation.Evolving in a dynamic, fast-changing sector with exciting challenges.Collaborating with passionate and committed teams.Job DescriptionAs part of our international expansion, we are recruiting a Project Manager to lead our data center projects in Milan and across Italy.Key ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for:Leading the overall execution of data center projects from initiation to delivery.Managing scope, budget, planning, risks, and quality to ensure successful outcomes.Coordinating multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders (clients, subcontractors, suppliers).Driving project governance, ensuring compliance with contractual, technical, and safety requirements.Monitoring procurement progress and subcontractor execution.Preparing and presenting project reports and KPIs to senior management and clients.Leading regular coordination meetings with project teams, site directors, and clients.Identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies to secure project objectives.Acting as the main client interface throughout the project lifecycle.Ensuring alignment between design, procurement, and site execution.Candidate ProfileHard SkillsDegree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field.5+ years of experience in project management for construction or infrastructure projects.Solid knowledge of project management tools (Primavera P6, MS Project, MS Office).Proven experience managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.Strong command of English (written and spoken); Italian is an asset.Soft SkillsLeadership and organizational skills.Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.Ability to manage priorities in complex, fast-paced environments.Problem-solving mindset and focus on results.Nice to HavePrevious experience in data centers, critical facilities, or renewable energy projects.PMP/Prince2 certification or equivalent.Benefits & Work EnvironmentBe part of a fast-growing company with a strong reputation in the European data center marketWork in a flat, dynamic, and young organization that values autonomy and contributionEnjoy flexible hours and hybrid work options (home/office)Opportunity to travel across Southern Europe for project coordination and site visitsMeal allowanceCareer development in a high-level technical and professional environmentContract type, seniority level, and compensation aligned with your experienceAt APL, we firmly believe that the strength of our team lies in its diversity.
