This role focuses on emerging payment innovations, including Alternative Payment Methods (APMs), Stablecoins, and Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs). The ideal candidate will combine product execution skills with strategic curiosity, helping translate complex market dynamics into actionable product initiatives. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to define, build and optimize next‑generation payment solutions that meet evolving consumer needs.RoleKey ResponsibilitiesSupport the development and execution of product strategies for APMs, stablecoins and CBDCs across European marketsCollaborate with global and regional product teams to ensure alignment, scalability and regulatory complianceTranslate emerging trends and regulatory developments into product requirements and business opportunitiesPartner with internal stakeholders (e.g., Engineering, Compliance, Risk, Sales) and external entities (e.g., fintechs, financial institutions, regulators) to drive product commercializationMonitor performance metrics and customer feedback to inform continuous product improvementJob RequirementsConsolidate experience in product management, strategy or fintech roles, ideally within payments or digital assetsSolid understanding of the European payments landscape, including APMs, blockchain‑based assets and CBDCsFamiliarity with relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g., PSD2, MiCA, ECB Digital Euro initiatives)Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and complexityExperience working in cross‑functional teams and agile environmentsExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skillsFluent in English; additional European languages are a plusWillingness to travel across Europe as neededCorporate Security ResponsibilityAll activities involving access to Mastercard assets, information and networks comes with an inherent risk to the organization and, therefore, it is expected that every person working for, or on behalf of, Mastercard is responsible for information security and must:Abide by Mastercard’s security policies and practices;Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the information being accessed;Report any suspected information security violation or breach, andComplete all periodic mandatory security trainings in accordance with Mastercard’s guidelines.#J-18808-Ljbffr
