Our client is an American company leader in cutting-edge Fire Fighting Equipment (FFE) and Life-Saving Appliances (LSA) tailored to the maritime sector. We are looking for: PROJECT MANAGER – Fire Fighting Equipment The main purpose of this role is to coordinate and manage teams of technicians to provide services for the marine industry and maintain relationships with key customers. Services are related to maintenance of Life System Appliance & Fire Fighting System, inspection, and certifications of technical equipment onboard ship. His/her responsibilities include: Prepare quotations in cooperation with sales department Operational and technical management of Fire Fighting system projects (e.g., sprinkler, inert gas, foam, water mist systems) Coordination of the project team: engineers, technicians, suppliers, and subcontractors Supervision of design, procurement, installation, and commissioning activities Liaise with other department to achieve efficient and profitable results for each project Monitoring of project budget, schedules, and quality standards Direct interface with the client for updates, technical reviews, and change management Cooperate with sales department to manage customers Visit customers in agreement with Service director and Sales director inputs Manage claims and warranties in cooperation with sales department Attend during most relevant jobs (in accordance with Service Director). Requirements: High School certificate. Bachelor’s degree is a plus Fluent level of English, verbal and written Experience of almost 3 years as project manager in FFE/LSA or other services performed on board ships Good Knowledge of FFE or LSA systems Knowledge of MS Office required. Knowledge of SAGE is a plus Willing to travel (20% of time) Ability to work in a structured manner and flexibility Ability to manage customer expectation and deadline Sales aptitude Teamworking.
