We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cyber Security Expert to enhance our organization's security posture. The ideal candidate has a strategic mindset and will bring a deep understanding of cybersecurity practice and knowledge of techniques to protect our systems, networks, and data against evolving threats.

The Cyber Security Expert will join the ICT Department and be located in Milano (preferably) or Marghera.

Key Responsibilities:

Threat Management:

Monitor and analyze alerts from the Security Operations Center (SOC) for potential threats Investigate and triage security incidents, escalating as necessary to mitigate risks Conduct root cause analysis and document findings for continuous improvement Assist in configuring, tuning, and maintaining security tools like SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) platforms Coordinate threat assessments, penetration tests, and vulnerability scans activities, oversighting technical teams to remediate identified issues.

Security by Design: Collaborate with development and ICT teams to integrate security best practices into the design and development of systems, applications, and infrastructure, recommending the adoption of security measures (e.g. encryption, access control, etc.) and oversighting the implementation Ensure compliance with security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR) Evaluate emerging technologies for potential security risks Act as a subject matter expert for security-related inquiries.

Security Strategy and Monitoring: Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex security concepts into actionable recommendations Develop, implement, and maintain robust security policies, standards, and frameworks Collaborate with ICT key stakeholders to establish strong IT recovery procedures and plans to ensure minimal downtime during incidents Design and deliver security awareness programs and phishing campaigns for employees to promote a security-conscious culture Develop, implement, and maintain robust security policies, standards, and frameworks.

Requirements:

Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity roles Relevant certifications (e.g., ISO 27001, CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent) Studies in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field are preferred

Technical Expertise: Proficiency with security tools (e.g., SIEM, endpoint protection, antispam) Strong understanding of network security, cloud security, Azure environment, access management, and encryption technologies

Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities Proactive, self-motivated, and adaptable to evolving threat landscapes Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities
