Overview RINA is currently recruiting an experienced Contract Manager to join a prestigiou s client's project in Milan. Qualifications University graduate in a scientific discipline (e.g. Civil, Mechanical, Management Engineer) Master’s degree in business administration or a related field such as mathematics, economics, or accounting is preferred Additional qualifications in law are a plus Knowledge of Italian and English is mandatory Professional Skills and Certifications Good knowledge (spoken and written) of foreign languages (preferable English, French or Spanish); including a technical dictionary is a plus Familiarity with planning and scheduling of activities for all aspects of EPC projects in major oil/gas plants Ability to read and interpret contract terms, conditions and specifications; knowledge of quality control and assurance functions, methods of progress measurements and verification Ability to apply innovative approaches to problem solving and negotiate across various levels of a construction environment Attention to detail and the ability to spot errors and inconsistencies Excellent reading and language comprehension; ability to work with a team at all levels of an organization Effective negotiation and execution of contracts; proven management and leadership skills Exceptional communication skills (oral and written) Work Experience Experience in offshore/onshore Oil & Gas or power generation EPC contracts; field of pressure retaining components, piping, pipelines, valves, rotating equipment, steel structures, etc. Minimum 10 years’ experience in major Oil/Gas projects in a similar position Duties and Responsibilities The Contract Manager/Administrator is responsible for: Working with different levels of personnel within an organization to analyse and solidify an overall contract strategy Coordinating actions with internal procurement and legal teams as needed Reporting status of current contract processes to management Resolving any existing contract conflicts Serving as a liaison between internal and external parties during contract development and negotiation stages Negotiating terms, conditions and pricing with internal and external partners, and ensuring they are accurately executed and satisfied Following up to guarantee contractual payments have been made Analysing potential risks that contract changes may pose to the organization #J-18808-Ljbffr
