Within IT Digital Channels, Sky Italia, the first Italian media company and the European leader in entertainment, is seeking a Frontend Software Engineer who can translate passion for software into concrete value for our customers. The Frontend Software Engineer will be primarily responsible for coordinating and overseeing the development, enhancement, and maintenance of Digital Products, ensuring alignment with business needs. This role will focus on providing strong technical leadership and guidance, fostering collaboration across teams, including external vendors and offshore resources, in alignment with architectural standards and best practices. Key Responsibilities : Contribute to the architectural definition and implementation, ensuring technical consistency and guiding frontend software engineers within the squad to adhere to design principles and standar Develop, enhance, and maintain core frontend components of the Digital Product landscape, while performing code reviews and providing strong technical coordinati onCoordinate and oversee development activities, ensuring quality, and compliance with SDLC best practices, while actively collaborating with all other engineer s.Interact with the business stakeholders to understand the business needs and translate them in technical stori esPromote innovation initiatives by exploring and evaluating new technologies, creating prototypes and proof-of-concepts, and mentoring external teams to adopt innovative solutions effectivel Core Competencies and Qualifications Experience in unit and integration tests frameworks (e.g. Cypress, Je Track record of developing scalable and performant web application in real-world environme Good awareness of best modern practices on software development lifecy Excellent communication and coordination skills to work with distributed teams and external vendo rs.Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information in a condensed manner to various stakeholders verbally and in writi intsAbility to adapt to changing contexts, including learning new programming languages and frameworks qui cklyExperience with SEO & perform anceStrong interest in exploring AI technologies and agentic AI applications, positioning oneself as a key contributor in identifying and shaping potential use cases within Sky’s digital ecosys tem.Product-oriented mindset, committed to creating exceptional customer experie ncesGood knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Scrum or Kanban environme Soft Skills skillsStrong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, fostering trust and effective collaboration across internal teams and external part ners.Team leadership and coordination abilities, promoting a culture of accountability and shared suc cess.Proactive and adaptable mindset, committed to developing a “can-do” culture and driving results in dynamic, fast‑paced environm ents.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in Italian and English (manda tory)Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude, ensuring timely and effective resolutions while maintaining high-quality stand #J-18808-Ljbffr
