Direct message the job poster from KT - Kinetics Technology Overview HVAC & Building Design Lead responsible for coordinating and verifying the design of HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) and Plumbing (potable water, condensate water, sewage and drainage) serving buildings, leading other building design disciplines, and ensuring design compliance with legislation, standards and contractual requirements. Responsibilities Coordinate and verify the design of HVAC and Plumbing systems serving buildings. Lead the specialists of other building design disciplines (civil, electrical, automation/instrumentation). Guarantee Building Mechanical Systems design compliance with legislation, main international standards (EN, NFPA, etc.) and contractual requirements, within time and budget. Ensure coordination between the building design disciplines using an integrated building 3D BIM model. Prepare Material Requisition (M.R.) for equipment/material purchase and Work Requisition (W.R.) for Subcontracts. Carry out the technical tabulations of Vendors and Subcontractors. Verify Vendors and Subcontractors design documents and data sheets. Ensure support during construction, commissioning and testing activities. Participate, for the specific area of competence, in the preparation/update of KTStandards/Procedures/Work Instructions. Keep up to date with developments of technology, standards and legislations. Qualifications / Personal Attributes Building/Mechanical Engineering degree, or equivalent. Work experience in HVAC, Plumbing and Building Design. Similar role with at least five years of experience. Fluent English speaker and writer. Experience working with Building and MEP (Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing) Subcontractors. Knowledge of drafting tools (AutoCAD) and BIM tools (REVIT, Navisworks) as well as main design software (CARRIER HAP, REVIT integrated software such as MAGICAD). Experience in HVAC & Plumbing for buildings in petrochemical and oil & gas plants is a plus (e.g., control rooms, electrical substations, laboratories, administration buildings, process buildings/shelters). Team-oriented, self-motivated with problem-resolution and good interpersonal and communication skills. Availability to travel for short and long periods in Italy and abroad.
