Among the European leaders in Enterprise Risk Management and Wealth & Asset Management solutions, Prometeia is looking for a Junior Software Analyst for our Software House Line (SHL). This line supports the digital transformation process of banks and insurance companies through the development of products able to analyze ever‑increasing amounts of data of various types. Responsibilities Evaluating, designing, and improving software solutions to meet business needs. Gathering and analyzing user requirements, collaborating with developers to define system functionalities, and ensuring the software aligns with organizational goals. Documenting processes, system testing, troubleshooting issues, and providing recommendations for improvements. Requirements Technical Skills Basic Programming Knowledge: Basic understanding of languages like Python, SQL for data manipulation and software configuration. Data Analysis: Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques, especially for financial datasets (Excel, basic SQL querying, etc.). Financial Skills Fundamentals of Risk Management: Basic understanding of financial risks (credit, market, liquidity risk). Fundamentals of Finance Mathematics: Good/basic knowledge of financial mathematics. Preferred qualifications include a degree in Mathematics, Physics, Finance, or a related field, demonstrating strong mathematical skills and at least a basic understanding of financial mathematics. Soft Skills Stakeholder Communication: Basic ability to communicate with internal teams, external stakeholders and understanding of client requirements. Documentation: Ability to produce clear, concise documentation (business requirements, functional specifications, methodological documentation). Requirement Gathering: Ability to collect and document user requirements for financial risk management systems. Problem‑Solving Skills: Problem‑solving mindset. Strong focus on understanding and identifying discrepancies and finding the right solutions.
