Develop comprehensive technical vision and strategy for advanced manufacturing systems across multiple facilities Spearhead the development and implementation of advanced simulation frameworks as a cornerstone of our manufacturing strategy, including digital twin technology and process optimization methodologies Lead architectural design for complex factory systems, establishing industry‑leading technical standards Create governance frameworks and technical roadmaps for manufacturing system development Drive innovation in simulation modeling, digital twin technology, and process optimization methodologies Build and nurture high‑performing engineering teams focused on continuous improvement Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or above in Industrial, Mechanical, Civil Engineering or other related discipline Experience in manufacturing, process, or industrial engineering Experience leading large‑scale, technical or engineering programs with a proven record of thought leadership, business case development, realizing customer benefits, and successful program completion Experience hiring, developing, and managing high‑performing technical teams Demonstrated proficiency in simulation modeling and process optimization Exceptional strategic communication and executive presentation skills Preferred Qualifications PhD in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, material science, physics or equivalent, or PhD Experience in patents or publications at top‑tier peer‑reviewed conferences or journals Global manufacturing innovation leadership experience Expertise in emerging manufacturing technologies and Industry 4.0 principles Experience developing technical talent and engineering excellence programs Advanced certification in manufacturing methodologies Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $141,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $244,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
