NDT ENGINEERDefinition of NDT Engineer The NDT Engineer is the person that follows the non‑destructive testing activities on pipelay off‑shore projects.Tasks performed by NDT EngineerOverall co‑ordination of the NDE Phase of off‑shore projects :Preparation of NDT procedures and QC documents related to the project.Qualify NDT procedures, planning activities and tests in order to comply project program and expectations. Face Client representatives in coordination with Project Welding Coordinators.Preparation of specifications of NDT equipment.Verify the preparation of project consumables and equipment. Liaise with the construction team to ensure the set‑up of the equipment required during production.Organisation of NDT Supervisors and Technicians when necessary for the performance of the work.Verification and supervision of NDT activities during start up of the projects.
