EFSA Guest Programme Call 2026/2027

In this role you join EFSA as a guest professional to contribute to EU food safety work while gaining hands-on experience. You will work under supervision on selected projects, share your expertise with EFSA teams, and bring back insights to your home institution. The placement can be on-site or remote and operates on a cost-free basis. This is an opportunity to expand your professional network and engage with international risk assessment communities while advancing your research interests.

• Support specific projects and contribute new ideas and solutions
• Develop new competencies aligned with personal goals under supervision
• Advance your research through collaboration with EFSA experts
• Strengthen international links and networks in risk assessment
• Manage your project scope by selecting up to two areas of interest

• Good knowledge of English (minimum level B2 CEFR)
• Clear criminal record and suitability for duties in EU institutions
• Origin from a public administration, an IGO, a non-profit university or research organization, or a public sector employer
