We are majority‑owned by CBRE Group, Inc.; together we provide premier programme, project, and cost management services worldwide.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Cost Management Director to lead complex construction projects and serve as the day‑to‑day interface with clients to achieve excellent outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide estimate and cost planning, including preparing and presenting final estimatesEstimate at conceptual, programming, and detailed levelsCompile feasibility studiesPrepare procurement reports and manage pre‑qualification, tender analysis, tender report, and contractual documentsManage post‑contract cost variances and change control processesLead cost checks, valuation deliverables, and monthly cost reporting to clientsLead value‑engineering initiatives and negotiate final accountsMaintain liaison with clients and other consultants at all project stagesProvide leadership to cost‑management teams and deliver appointed service scopeIdentify opportunities to develop new business and improve cost‑management procedures, templates, and productsQualificationsDegree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, or related fieldMinimum 10 years’ experience in cost management with leadership on large, high‑complexity construction projectsGood knowledge of construction industry technical matters (procurement routes, value management, life‑cycle costing)People‑management experience delivering projectsStrong technical experience in pre‑contract, post‑contract, and final accountUnderstanding of mechanical, process, electrical, plumbing, civic, structural, and architectural systems as they relate to constructionExperience in the Italian construction industry and knowledge of contractual documentation is advantageousFluent English; Italian language skills preferredExcellent presentation, verbal, written, and communication skillsOrganisational skills; ability to multi‑task and work as a team playerWorking knowledge of MS Office and modern cost‑management digital toolsAdditional InformationWe provide a great place to work, with a healthy, productive, and flexible environment that respects work‑life balance.
