Who We ArePrysmian is a global cabling solutions provider leading the energy transition and digital transformation.We are a public company listed on the Italian Stock Exchange, with almost 150 years of experience, over 30,000 employees, 104 plants and 27 R&D centers in over 50 countries.Your Contribution To Prysmian's SuccessWe are looking for a Site Superintendent to join Installation Department in Milan HQ.Act as focal point with Customer and third parties for supervising pre-lay activities related to the power cable system. Interface between Customer, Civil works contractors, and Cable laying subcontractors for planning activities, checking civil works execution, and infrastructure. Supervise laying operations performed by subcontractors. Maintain a record diary of on-site activities, managing subcontractor execution per the plan and contract requirements. Supervise backfilling operations by third-party companies regarding timing, quality, and cable protection. Oversee site supervision, including personnel, assets, technical aspects, logistics, and HSE management. Enforce site safety rules to minimize work-related accidents and injuries. Ensure compliance with internal rules and procedures throughout the process. Support preparation of method statements and other necessary documentation for on-site work in cooperation with and under the supervision of Installation Engineering.You Are The Right Fit If You Have/areFluent in English and Italian. Degree in Engineering. Up to 5years of experience in a construction site context. Availability to spend long periods abroad on site (approx. 60-70% per year). Driving license. Leadership attitude. Good communication skills and relationship approach with Clients and subcontractors. Analytical and problem-solving skills, target orientation, with attitude to manage properly priorities in coordination with Management. Attitude to fast learning and self-commitment.
