AMEX is looking for an Acquisition Capabilities Intern in our Milan office.
We are searching for a student interested in Project Management who would like to join Acquisition Capabilities Team.
This is a paid internship opportunity to know the American Express Processes and Platforms with an excellent introduction to the payment services.
Key Projects:
Opportunity to be involved in meaningful projects, be exposed to daily team tasks such as development, execution and monitoring of Acquisition Platforms. The intern will be introduced to useful tools and resources that will help the intern grow both professionally and personally.
He/She will be involved in projects that include the implementation of new Acquisition Platforms, from the requirement definition to the production rollout.
The intern will gain experience in the following areas:
- Project Management
- Definition and implementation of new acquisition platforms, in order to digitize processes
- Monitoring and Management of existing Acquisition Platforms, to ensure that the card acquisition occurs seamlessly and without issues
- Acquisition Platforms' UI and Conversion Rate, improving the experience of platform users and ensure compliance with current regulations
Skills & Experience Required:
- Passion in project management and/or digital
- Excellent PC skills (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Excellent Italian and English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Process focused and capable of handling multiple tasks, with strong attention to details.
- Strong orientation to teamwork
- Analytical skills, financial foresight and good attention to quality and details
- Creative problem-solving, and ability to identify and drive customized solutions

- Duration: 6 months internship + with potential 6 months renewal
- Hours: 35 hours per week
