Posizione We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with strong technical leadership skills and hands‑on experience in data infrastructure projects to collaborate on an innovative project developed by Startup Bakery. Key Responsibilities Design and oversee end-to-end data architecture (ingestion, transformation, storage, consumption) on cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure). Coordinate and develop scalable and reliable data pipelines collecting data from IoT devices and other sources. Collaborate closely with Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers to ensure predictive models and analytics are efficient, production-ready, and reproducible. Ensure data quality, governance, and security, including the definition of standards and best practices. Contribute to the design of dashboards and reporting systems to provide actionable insights for agronomists and internal teams. Monitor data system performance, handle troubleshooting, and drive continuous optimization. Requisiti Must-have Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field. 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering roles (ETL/ELT, pipelines, data warehousing). Strong proficiency in data programming languages: Python and SQL (other languages are a plus). Experience with Elasticsearch. Familiarity with data modeling concepts, APIs, and IoT integrations. Ability to work independently and coordinate small development teams. Nice-to-have Basic knowledge of MLOps and advanced analytics tools.
