Founded in 1914, Danieli is a world leader in the construction of plants and machines for the steel industry. The company has over twenty-five divisions and is renowned for innovation, team spirit, excellence and reliability. We are currently looking for a Project Manager to reinforce our Danieli Wean United Team. Job Type: On-site Responsibilities Manage assigned projects from start-up to closure, ensuring that contractual obligations and project targets are met, with specific focus on cost, delivery, quality. Support sales function in closing phases of order acquisition. Project planning and scheduling: Identify the resources required to bring the project to successful completion and ensure they are properly engaged Define Macro Planning and guidelines for project execution Schedule purchasing plans for plant materials (PII), external contractors for mechanical parts (PIE) and suppliers for technological packages (PE). Project monitoring and execution: Timely and proactive identification of potential issues Prompt solution of issues to ensure project targets are met (cost, delivery, quality), engaging all relevant internal and external stakeholders Ensure a positive project cash-flow Ensure process compliance from project start-up to closure (including Advisory & Commissioning), developing the required documentation and report-out at different stages of the project. Ensure compliance with contract obligation towards the customer Technical Requirements Fluent knowledge of English. Experience in complex projects management in mechanical sector. Understanding of the requirements and processes needed to support multi-faceted projects which include Mechanical Design & Development, Software development, Software/System architecture, Electronic Hardware Development and Test Equipment Design & Development Soft Skills Problem solving approach; Capability to work in a multi-cultural business environment Ability to establish productive relationships in multicultural environments Customer orientation; Passion & Team spirit; Availability for short world-wide business trips Other Over the course of its long history Danieli Wean United has developed a thorough knowledge together with a well-earned experience in the downstream processing of the hot/cold rolled steel and strip processing lines. #J-18808-Ljbffr
