Overview We are currently recruiting a Senior Buyer H/F, reporting directly to the Regional Procurement Director of WSEE (West/South/East Europe) perimeter. The position is based in Italy (Milan). Your Tasks Contribute to achieve the defined annual savings and cost avoidance targets Complete order process for prototypes, FAIR, toolings, etc. Data maintenance (e.g. lead times, material object codes, etc.) Support Global Category Manager for RFx and quotation evaluations for lower value transactions and support project demands Plan and execute purchasing projects upon instruction Take over responsibility for all local categories Collaborate with and support internal customers / stakeholders Administration: analyses, KPIs, data maintenance, requiring information and certificates, archiving, etc. Your Skills ≥3 years experience in a similar position within direct and indirect procurement MS Office is a must; experience in SAP-MM is mandatory Experience in handling interactions with suppliers, including contracts regulations Experience in the execution of RFxs as well as quotation evaluations; SAP and eProcurement experience is an advantage Commercial degree or technical degree with additional commercial training Education as “Certified Purchasing Specialist, Federal Diploma of Higher Education” is an advantage Comfortable in a complex, fast-moving and changing environment Good social competence Strong communication skills Excellent in teamwork Proactive attitude Independent working Our Offering Opportunity for growth and professional development Salary based on profile and experience Meal vouchers Remote working (2 days per week) Access to employee benefits (amusement park, cinema, etc.) Access to LinkedIn Learning Seniority level Associate Employment type Full-time Job function Project Management Industries Wholesale Building Materials #J-18808-Ljbffr
