Purchasing Administrator

Due to continued growth and success our Purchasing department is looking for a Purchasing Administrator to join the team. This newly created role will suit someone with experience in purchasing within an engineering and manufacturing environment or someone looking for their next challenge in a fast‑moving and dynamic environment.The successful candidate will be a confident and driven individual who can prioritise their work to meet task delivery and work well in a team. Excellent administration and organisational skills, plus attention to detail, are key requirements for this role.DutiesCompletion of Purchase Requisitions issued by supported Product Groups via the company’s ZOE SystemCreation of purchase orders in SAGE ERP system, in accordance with company procedures and in line with financial processes.Liaising with Product Groups to ensure correct materials and supply conditions are selected (Incoterms / Terms and Conditions etc.)Liaising with supply chain to ensure orders are received and actioned, helping to expedite where required.Supporting repeat, indirect orders for the UK Manufacturing and Quality Control teams.Provide support for amendments and ongoing management of the approved vendor list.Contribute to the creation of team KPIs.Occasional travel to supplier locations.The PersonExperience within a procurement role or similar commercial roleExperience in a manufacturing / engineering environmentExcellent organisation and time management skillsIT literate (Microsoft Office), with strong Excel skillsSage (or similar MRP) experience desirable – training will be givenResourceful, well organised, highly dependable, efficient and detail orientatedA willingness to collaborate with colleagues and suppliers to drive progressSeniority LevelEntry levelEmployment typeFull‑timeJob FunctionPurchasing and Supply ChainIndustriesOil and GasReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Zeeco, Inc. by 2xGet notified about new Purchasing Administrator jobs in Milan, Lombardy, Italy.#J-18808-Ljbffr
