Under the general guidance of the Executive Housekeeper or any other authorized by the management, ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Laundry and Uniform Issue areas in accordance to the hotel standards.Monitor and follow up on Uniform Issue and all guest dry-cleaning and laundry requests.Ensure that all guest laundry and dry-cleaning items are delivered to the guestrooms properly wrapped and in line with standards.Carry out basic tailoring tasks for guests, such as fixing tears, hemming garments, or reattaching buttons.Perform similar minor repairs for staff uniforms when needed.Make sure the washer and dryer machines are used correctly.Ensure proper operation of the presser and the ironing machine.Keep the Executive Housekeeper informed about any issues or concerns related to laundry operations.Previous experience in a similar role within a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred but not always required for entry-level positions.Experience in a luxury (5-star) hotel is a plusPrior experience working in a laundry environment is essential.Fluency in both Italian and English is required.Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for cleanlinessStrong communication and organizational abilities.Polite, friendly, and customer-service oriented attitude.Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues.Ability to anticipate and focus attention on guest needs, being professional and welcomingExcellent organizational skills and time managementStrong interpersonal and problem solving abilitiesHighly responsible and reliableMedical Insurance, integrating Collective Labor Agreement one and extended to the familyTicket RestaurantAnnual leaveALL - Heartist® Program : Employee benefit card offering discounted rates at all ACCOR locations and partner venues worldwide.Learning & development : Opportunity to develop your talent and grow within your property and across the worldOur commitment to Diversity & Inclusion : We are an inclusive company and our ambition is to attract, recruit and promote diverse talent.About Orient ExpressArtisan of travel since 1883, Orient Express sublimates the art of travel with its luxury trains, hotels, and sailing yachts.
