Overview Fitch Group’s Compliance team is seeking an Associate Director based at either Frankfurt, Milan or Warsaw. Within the Regulatory Compliance team, you will manage Fitch Ratings’ interaction with regulators across EMEA, including regulatory reporting, supervisory inspections and examinations. The role ensures compliance with credit rating agency regulations, maintains regulatory reporting obligations, reviews policies and internal investigations, and manages complaints. How You’ll Make An Impact Reporting to the Head of Compliance – EU, you will support Fitch Ratings regulatory obligations in the EU and rest of EMEA. You will manage relationships between Fitch Ratings and the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) and other EMEA regulators by gathering and organising information for inspections, examinations and requests. You will be a key internal point of contact for compliance matters affecting Fitch Ratings’ operations in EMEA, advising and training staff on regulatory and compliance issues. You will collaborate with other Compliance team members on regional and global compliance matters. You will work on regulatory compliance assignments in EMEA, including regulatory reporting and implementation of Fitch Ratings policies and procedures. You May Be a Good Fit If Educated to university degree level or equivalent. Highly organized and efficient, with the ability to multi-task, meet tight deadlines, and manage time effectively. Excellent drafting and communication skills with great attention to detail. Fluency in English, both written and spoken. What Would Make You Stand Out Legal qualifications and/or experience in handling regulatory compliance matters. Experience dealing with ESMA or other regulatory bodies and managing regulatory inspections/examinations in the financial services sector. Previous experience in the credit ratings industry or other similar supervised sector.
