Overview Freelance Cybersecurity Analyst - AI Trainer Location: Remote (country eligibility as specified). This opportunity is for candidates currently residing in the specified country. Role and Responsibilities GenAI models are improving rapidly, and this role focuses on enabling them to address specialized questions and demonstrate strong reasoning. As an AI Tutor in Coding, you will collaborate on projects and typically contribute to: Analyze and investigate simulated security alerts and incidents across endpoints, identities, and cloud environments Conduct proactive threat hunting using KQL or similar query languages to identify hidden vulnerabilities and emerging threats that automated systems may miss Assess the accuracy and depth of AI-generated security incident reports and threat analyses Review, validate, and improve the model's understanding of Microsoft Defender products and SOC workflows Provide expert feedback on AI performance in identifying and classifying cybersecurity threats Requirements Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Security / Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, Network or Computer Engineering, or related fields. Recognized industry certification (e.g., SC-200, AZ-500, CISSP, CEH, GCIH, CSA, CompTIA Security+) is preferred At least 3 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations, incident response, or threat detection Proven background working in Security Operations Centers (SOC) Ability to investigate, triage, and respond to complex security incidents across endpoints, identities, and cloud environments Proficiency in Microsoft Defender products and familiarity with Microsoft Sentinel or similar SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, Elastic) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience using KQL or equivalent log analysis tools Experience in threat intelligence, vulnerability management, or incident correlation Advanced English level (C1) or above Willingness to learn new methods, ability to switch between tasks quickly, and work with complex guidelines Freelance role is fully remote; you need a laptop, internet connection, time availability, and enthusiasm Benefits Get paid for your expertise, with rates up to $35/hour depending on skills, experience, and project needs Part-time, remote freelance project that fits around your primary commitments Work on advanced AI projects and build valuable experience Influence how future AI models understand and communicate in your field Additional Details Seniority level: Mid-Senior level Employment type: Part-time Job function: Other Industries: IT Services and IT Consulting Get notified about new Cyber Security Analyst jobs in Rome, Latium, Italy. #J-18808-Ljbffr
