Role Overview Our client, a leading Software, Information and Communication Technologies company, operates internationally (Athens, Brussels, Luxembourg, Copenhagen, Stockholm, London, Nicosia, Hong-Kong, Valetta, etc). Our client is a renowned supplier of IT services to government institutions, multinational corporations, public administrations and multinational companies, research and academic institutes.Job type: Full Time / PermanentLocation: ItalyWorkplace: OnsitePlease note that we can consider only EU candidates for this position due to security clearance.Requirements University degree in IT combined with relevant IT professional experience of at least 15 yearsExpert with Cisco ACI networking technology and management (hardware knowledge is a plus)Expert-level knowledge of Switching Technologies, particularly Cisco, with strong skills in Layer 2 network designStrong expertise in Routing Technologies, including dynamic routing protocols and Layer 3 network designHands‑on experience with Wi‑Fi technologies, especially Cisco wireless productsSolid understanding of network protocol services such as NTP, DNS, DHCP, and SNMPExpertise with VMware NSX platformProficiency in Network Quality of Service (QoS) techniques and technologies and Network Security practices, techniques, and technologiesHands‑on experience with Linux system administration (Red Hat Enterprise Linux, CentOS, and similar distributions)Good Knowledge of Network Access Control (NAC) systemsExperience in operating and monitoring infrastructure, systems, and servers (PRTG preferred)Good knowledge of IDS/IPS technologies for network intrusion detection and preventionWorking knowledge of firewall technologies, particularly Cisco and Fortinet systemsUnderstanding of VPN standards and technologiesExperience with network logging systems, including Syslog and SIEM log correlation toolsKnowledge of Netbox and LAN technologies, TCP/IP protocolCisco certifications: CCNA required; CCNP (or equivalent from other networking vendors) is a strong plusExcellent command of the English languageResponsibilities Installation and configuration of system components and server software, including patch managementSupport both daily operations for relevant services and contribute to the execution of new projectsOperating and monitoring of infrastructure, systems, serversIncident management, Change enablement, Request fulfilment, Problem management: definition, analysis and resolutionEvaluation and implementation of security standardsParticipate in defining and documenting operational procedures#J-18808-Ljbffr
