This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative project.Role SummaryAs a Linguist/Speech Data Verifier, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the capabilities of AI‑driven speech recognition and generation assistants.Role ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will listen to short Italian audio recordings and review, correct, refine, and/or expand pre‑annotated descriptions/labels to accurately reflect voice characteristics and speech delivery.Key QualificationsIdiomatic fluency in Italian (Italy)Pass a qualification test (estimated duration is 25 minutes)Excellent listening, writing and spelling skills in ItalianAdvanced English language skills (written and verbal)Degree in linguistics or related field (phonetics, phonology, speech pathology, etc.)Phonetics/phonology expertise is preferredRelevant experience in data analysis, labelling, speech/text‑to‑speech technology, and/or audio annotation is considered a plusFamiliarity with online annotation tools is preferredAbility to work independently and meet deadlines effectivelyExceptional attention to detail and the ability to deliver error‑free workAvailability to work a minimum of 20 hours per weekInterest in language technologiesAs part of the application process, you are required to complete a 1‑minute questionnaire, which will be sent to you via email from a dataforce.recruitee.com domain after you click Apply to submit your application.DataForce by TransPerfect is part of the TransPerfect family of companies, the world’s largest provider of language and technology solutions for global business, with offices in more than 100 cities worldwide.We offer high-quality data for Human‑Machine Interaction to some of the most prestigious technology companies in the world.
