Position purpose (Position Objectives)Responsible for the weight estimatelculation and close supervision of yachts weight and centers, both through the design and build stages.Check the weight control for each project, prepare the relative update of the weight exponent and carry out stability analysis until the relevant test (inclining test) with the Classification / Flag Bodies.Main Responsabilities:Carrying out weight and centers calculation at the preliminary design stage;Updating the weight and center calculation during the executive design and building phase working closely with the executive design and production departmentSupervision of the Yacht weight onboard during the building phaseCarrying out intact and damage stability analysis and developing loading conditions for new vesselsFinal weight surveys and inclining experiments.Requirements:Masters and/or Degree in Naval ArchitecturePrevious professional experience in Naval Platform design and building would be a strong plusExperience in Design for manufacturing and assemblyProduct value analysis techniques knowledgeNaval & Nautical design knowledgeExpertise of product InnovationIT Tools advanced knowledge (project, excel, design and visualization software such as 3D CAD, Siemens NX) and familiarity with Microstation, Maxsurf and HydromaxGood level of English both spoken and writtenSkills:Target Oriented and a decision making approachChange Management AbilityAbility to handle tight deadlines across multiple projectsPlace of work: Forlì
