Offer Description
The research activity will be conducted within the FABRE-ANAS-UNIBAS/DIUSS agreement, and it will regard the application of an integrated and multilevel approach to define objective criteria for planning inspections, safety verifications, and maintenance interventions on existing bridges. At first, a state-of-art review on existing multilevel methods for risk assessment of infrastructures will be conducted, with particular reference to the method proposed for existing bridges proposed by LL.GG. of MIT. The activities will also have to propose criteria for knowledge design of existing bridges. To this regards some case studies will be considered, by applying the MIT methodology up to the Level 4. The numerical analyses will be carried out with FEM models, integrating also the experimental data available. They will be addressed to define any additional tests or monitoring systems.

- Degree of Laurea in Architecture unique cycle (LM-4) or Degree of Laurea in
construction engineering-architecture (4/S), obtained no more than six years ago on
the deadline date of the call for applications;
- Participation in previous study and research projects on existing bridges
- Speaker at conferences on existing bridges
b) Thesis and scientific publications in the field of seismic risk of existing constructions/bridges
