In order to enable new professional opportunities and enhance personal experience, we are seeking for a MRO & GENERAL AVIATION (GA) Coordinator for our Landing Gear and GA JV based in Ankara, Turkey.
The MRO & GA Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) tasks related to landing gear, ensuring all operational processes adhere to safety, quality, and efficiency standards. As GA Coordinator, she / he will lead the manufacturing (lamination / supply chain / assembly / test flight) and maintenance (airframe / engine / avionics) of Sky Arrow aircraft series.
The role involves leading a small team of technicians, engineers, and support staff, managing day-to-day operations, and maintaining compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team involved in landing gear MRO & GA activities.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and quality within the team.
- Develop and implement shift schedules and resource allocation.
- Support the setup of the Joint Venture regarding technical and industrial operations.
- Oversee the MRO & GA processes for landing gear systems, including inspections, repairs, overhauls, and modifications and General Aviation in terms of manufacturing / test / maintenance / development of Sky Arrow aircraft series, in strict coordination with Italy.
- Ensure all operations are carried out in compliance with safety regulations
Hard Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, aerospace, mechanical, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Knowledge interpreting CMMs, Blueprints and repair documents
- Knowledge of aviation industry regulations and standards
- Demonstrated experience or strong potential for team management, resource planning, and budgeting
Soft Skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with partners, clients and local authorities
- Problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
Compensation
Salary: Starting from 37K gross per year. The final salary will be determined during the interview process based on the candidate's experience, skills, and overall profile
