Internship Opportunity

Are you seeking a curriculum internship to complete your master's thesis? We are looking for a:

Mechanical Process Engineer

Location: Maranello (Modena). You will work in our Service Line Engineering team on significant consulting projects for our clients.

We will define your thesis topic together and support you in its writing. Main activities include:

Design for Assembly
  • Defining assembly methods, RPS, and 321 methodology.
  • Analyzing part decomposition and technical-economic evaluation of subgroups prepared offline.
  • 3D verification of part assembly, reporting, and progress tracking.
  • Proposing product modifications and discussing open points.
  • Evaluating and defining assembly phases.
  • Sizing and defining fastening tools.
  • Analyzing clearances and profiles for repeatability and error-proofing.
  • Feasibility studies for styling and engineering.
  • Make/Buy analysis.
Process
  • Defining assembly sequence and macro-operations.
  • Sizing and defining control equipment.
  • Analyzing integration with current plant assembly flow.
  • Studying workspace with WCM concepts.
  • Estimating operation times and subgroups.
Layout
  • Analyzing technological line layouts and re-layouts.
  • Evaluating logistical flows from kits, warehouse, and offline preparation areas.
  • Comparing alternative layout scenarios considering production, logistics, and maintenance feedback.
  • Defining production line layouts, equipment geometries, and space planning.
Requirements

You are suitable if you are a:

  • Mechanical engineering or related degree student.
