Talent, Learning and Development Manager

InPost is a leading player in the business to consumer parcel delivery market. In Poland, they are successfully redesigning the last mile for e-commerce as the market leader. InPost covers the Italian market with a network of 5000 PUDOs (Pick Up and Drop Off points) and 3000 fully automated parcel lockers (that are accessible 24/7) enabling customers to collect, send and return parcels at their earliest convenience. The aim is to continue scaling InPost in the Italian market in a similarly rapid trajectory to that of Integer's Polish home market. Job Summary:

The Talent, Learning & Development Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the company's employee training and development programs. This role involves assessing organizational needs, designing, implementing, and evaluating learning initiatives, and ensuring employees have the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their roles. The Talent, Learning & Development Manager will partner with department heads, HR, and leadership teams to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement across the organization. This person will also coordinate the Talent Acquisition Specialist function as a supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with department leaders, managers, and HR to assess training and development needs across the organization.
  • Use surveys, interviews, and performance evaluations to identify skill gaps, training needs, and opportunities for growth.
  • Design, develop, and implement training programs, including onboarding, leadership development, technical skills training, soft skills, compliance, and more.
  • Incorporate diverse training methods (e.g., e-learning, in-person workshops, webinars, peer coaching) to accommodate various learning styles.
  • Lead or coordinate training sessions for employees at all levels, ensuring effective delivery and engagement.
  • Work with leadership to identify high-potential employees and design career development programs to prepare them for future leadership or critical roles within the organization.
  • Develop and implement leadership training programs to identify and prepare future leaders within the company.
  • Establish and support mentoring programs to enhance employee development and foster strong interdepartmental relationships.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs using feedback surveys, assessments, and performance metrics.
  • Measure and report on the return on investment (ROI) of training programs, demonstrating their impact on employee performance, engagement, and business outcomes.
  • Curate and upload training content into the LMS, ensuring that all materials are current, comprehensive, and easy to navigate.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning by encouraging employees to participate in professional development opportunities, certifications, and external training events.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external vendors, trainers, or organizations to provide specialized training as needed.
  • Lead and coordinate the Talent Acquisition Specialist figure.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree or certifications in Training & Development is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in training and development, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing employee training programs, including leadership development and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Experience in managing Learning Management Systems (LMS) and using e-learning tools and platforms.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of instructional design and adult learning principles.
  • Ability to develop, implement, and evaluate training programs that meet organizational needs.
  • Excellent facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, learning management systems (LMS), and other training platforms.
  • Ability to assess training effectiveness and make data-driven improvements.
  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills.
  • Excellent English knowledge.
  • Willingness to travel abroad (4-6 times per year, when needed).

Nice to have:

  • Certification in Training & Development (e.g., Certified Professional in Learning and Performance - CPLP).
  • Experience in leadership development and succession planning.
  • Familiarity with the latest learning technologies (e.g., virtual training, micro-learning, gamification, mobile learning).
